The series takes its name from Argus—a mythical giant with a hundred eyes, symbolizing vigilance and the ability to keep track of many things at once. This image reflects the purpose of the series: supporting the system during multitasking and when running demanding applications.

Argus is based on the DDR5 standard and operates at 1.1 V, enabling efficient data exchange and stable system performance. The series is available in two form factors: DIMM for desktop computers and SoDIMM for laptops and compact devices. Argus is available at 4800 or 5600 MHz. The higher frequency enables faster data exchange between the memory and other system components, which is especially beneficial for multitasking and demanding applications.

Depending on the frequency, Argus modules feature CL40 timings at 4800 MHz and CL46 timings at 5600 MHz. The combination of frequency and timings delivers balanced memory responsiveness and stable system performance.
